We cracked this one open on a Thursday evening and honestly, it kept us guessing. That's the thing about an Amazon Mystery Box — you never quite know if you're getting treasure or trash bags. Turns out, sometimes it's both.

The Clear Winner: A Sealed Magic: The Gathering Commander Deck

Right on top was a sealed Hasbro Magic the Gathering Universes Beyond Doctor Who Commander Deck — Paradox Power, retailing at $50. If you know anything about MTG collector culture, you know sealed Commander decks move fast. The Doctor Who crossover sets in particular have a fanbase that takes them very seriously. That one item alone made this box worth talking about.

From there, things got a little more grounded. A Konren Side Back Pack came in at nearly $20 retail — clean, sealed, the kind of everyday carry bag that goes quick on our floor. Then a pair of clothing wins: a Hanes Men's Value Pack Striped Boxer Briefs 6-Pack and Trimfit 8-Pack Camo Dino Black Blue Briefs, together adding another $35 in retail value. Practical stuff that Hot Springs shoppers actually want.

The box also turned up a 90-count box of Amazon Basics Flextra Tall Kitchen Drawstring Trash Bags — fresh scent, 13-gallon, the kind of thing you buy anyway. At $15.49 retail, we'll take it. There was also a JT Eaton 6.2 Fluid Ounce Jug and Sprayer Insect Killer (handy this time of year), a Post-it Flags Value Pack with 328 flags in assorted colors, and — this is the one that made us laugh — twenty-four individual Cesar Classic Loaf In Sauce Filet Mignon dog food pouches at $1.50 each. That's $36 worth of very fancy dog dinners.

Plus dozens more bin-labeled items headed straight to our store bins for resale. All in, this box clocked in around $279 in estimated retail value. Not our wildest box, but solid and surprisingly varied. The sealed MTG deck carried it.
